A great little trick

Our friends over on The Human IT Company webpage just posted a video on YouTube with a great little trick on creating passwords that are potentially really easy to remember, but nice and strong too.

Password stuffing is a common technique used by hackers where they steal the email address and password for a single account, and try to use the same combination on other websites. Why? Because hackers know that many people re-use their passwords for multiple websites.

So while this password trick is a good starting point, really, you should be using a password manager to gain unique passwords. And maybe use this password trick to generate a long, easy-to-remember password that protects the password manager itself.

Check out their blog post on The Human IT Company website. Then come back here and give us a call when you’re ready to talk about a password manager or cybersecurity protection for your business.
